Mont Levy, JD is a wealth advisor at Buckingham, an independent member of the BAM ALLIANCE. He is a former member of the firms’ board of managers. Mont has been a wealth advisor for the firm since 1995 and previously served a CEO of BAM Advisor Services. He previously worked as vice president of finance and administration at Grand Center, Inc. and as a partner with Follman/Levy Acquisition Group.
He currently serves as chair of the Arts & Faith St. Louis Community Programming Initiative, Vice chair of the American Jewish Committee’s National Interreligious Affairs Commission, and on the boards of Opera Theatre of St. Louis, Shakespeare Festival St. Louis and Clayton Century Foundation. Levy has served as chair of the Jewish Federation of St. Louis, Shakespeare Festival St. Louis, Craft Alliance and the Jewish Fund for Human Needs. He was the founding chair of the advisory committee for the Millstone institute for Jewish Leadership. He also served for many years as a member of the executive committee of Forsyth School in St. Louis and on the board of John Burroughs School.
In 2010, Levy was named to accounting Today’s “Top 100 Most Influential People” list for the second consecutive year. He was recognized by St. Louis Magazine as one of the “40 under 40.” He was also recognized by the National Conference of Community and Justice for his role in the community. Levy holds a law degree from Washington University in St. Louis and a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Washington in Seattle. He is married to Karen W. Levy and they have two daughters and one grandchild.
